Franchetti Bond was founded by Nicholas Bond and Mariangela Franchetti in 1987. Since then they have grown to be one of the leading designers of handbags, shoes, luggage and accessories in the UK. They travel the world in search of inspiration and to source the best raw materials.

This season designer Mariangela Franchetti is inspired by her opulent Tuscan heritage. The colour palette is courtly: earthy burnt Siena, Botticelli pink, Papal ruby red, sinful chocolate brown, Macchiavelian black.

The exciting shoe collection marries luscious suede with soft calf leather. Classic styling is married to bold hand stitching and edgy high-heel boots with elegant court shoes. Handbags are luscious. Texture is essential with the use of sumptuous suede and calf, handcrafted brass and gold buckles, chains and detailing, contrast stiching and lots of tassles inspired by elegant Medici robes. Shapes are soft and simple for some, structured and elegant for others and, in the best Florentine tradition, what is inside (of the bags and shoes) is always as intriguing as what is outside.
